HIGHER SCHOOL PEDAGOGY
The article considers the problem of motivation of students — future physics teachers for research work. The importance and readiness of future teachers to conduct research work is analyzed. The obtained results of conducting experimental work on the basis of «YUrGGPU» among undergraduate students in the field of training «Pedagogical education» profile «Physics. Mathematics» within the framework of educational practice (design and research). The developed set of didactic materials and the proven organization of the course and events contribute to the formation of research competencies of future physics teachers. As a result of the work, difficulties are highlighted, recommendations are given and a general conclusion is made about the need for motivation for research work by students of a pedagogical university, future physics teachers.
The lecture is and still is the leading and most effective form of education at the university, which is difficult to find an alternative. However, didactics have long raised the issue of the need to increase the motivation of students in lecture classes. Hence, the goal of the article is to consider the practical use of interactive methods for increasing the cognitive activity of students at lectures. The article provides an overview of the use of active lecture forms in higher education, gives recommendations for their use. The assumption that the use of new lecture forms contributes to the modernization of the traditional form of teaching at the university, overcoming its one-way orientation and establishing feedback from the student to the teacher has been substantiated. All this will eventually increase their motivation to educational and professional activities and will allow overcoming the shortcomings of lecture methods.
The article reveals the main approaches, patterns of formation of the culture of professional success of the future teacher. The author’s points of view on the concept in the field of sociocultural, philosophical, psychological, pedagogical, professional knowledge are revealed. A content analysis of scientific approaches was carried out to clarify the methodological parameters of the study, the functional and didactic role of the culture of professional success as a multicomponent system and process for increasing the efficiency of the educational process in a pedagogical university and the formation of a future teacher in the parameters of competitiveness was revealed. A subject-oriented technology (SOT) is proposed for the formation of a culture of professional success of the future teacher, the features of the inclusion of technology taking into account the parameters of the developing environment of the university and the productive interaction «studentteacher-employer». The methods of creating a situation of success, a face-to-face format of meetings with successful practitioners are shown; game method, Lesson Study method for practicing the skills of learning rational methods of educational activity, health-preserving methods, improving the quality of performance, mobility, communication, reflexivity, research work, which ensures a high level of formation of the components of the culture of professional success.
The article presents the results of the work on the study of the future teacher’s readiness for tutoring in inclusive education. The essence, content and components of the teacher’s readiness for tutoring are revealed. The positions and functions of a tutor in inclusive education are formulated, a set of pedagogical conditions aimed at forming the readiness of a future teacher for tutoring in inclusive education is presented. The results of the study are presented and the effectiveness of organizational and pedagogical conditions in shaping the readiness of a future teacher for tutoring in inclusive education is proved.
This article reviews an approach to language pedagogy that shows how culture can play a central role in foreign language learning and contribute to the development of a comprehensive person. The concept of language pedagogy is considered using an activity system as a tool for the development of a comprehensive person, which combines research into the study of culture through language and the theory of cultural-historical activity. Language teaching and learning requires a more adequate conceptualization of culture and human activity.
State policy in the field of education and youth upbringing is regulated by regulatory legal acts of the Russian Federation, reflecting the state’s interest in increasing the level of citizenship of students. The article presents a theoretical justification for the civic position of students as the current state of a person with a certain level of formation of his value system, attitudes and personal orientation in society. The presented pedagogical conditions, focused on the formation of citizenship among students at the university, allowed us to develop a pedagogical model and a program for its implementation. The program is aimed at civic education for first-year students enrolled in a bachelor's degree program. The model has three blocks: target, content and results. The implementation of the program at the university, monitoring of processes, analysis of the results proves the effectiveness of the experimental work and allow us to draw a conclusion about the effective implementation of experimental activities aimed at developing the civic position of university students.
Interpersonal, cognitive and intellectual competencies, unlike professionally oriented ones, cannot be accurately measured, but they are improved in social experience process and are leading criteria for evaluating a personality's success today. 4K system, four key skills, called Soft Skills (flexible skills): critical thinking, coordination, communication and creativity according to the requirements of modern employers tend to expand with qualities such as decision-making, responsibility, self-development, time management, receptivity to innovation, curiosity, mobility and others. The article substantiates the expediency of the project method in social and humanitarian disciplines as a modern educational tool for the formation of students' flexible competencies in higher education.
The problem of the formation of functional literacy of schoolchildren has come to the fore in recent years, which is reflected in the documents that determine the functioning of secondary general education. Its solution is impossible without qualified pedagogical guidance, which can be obtained due to the appropriate training of teachers. The purpose of the study is to present the content of training of prospective teachers for formation functional literacy of pupils in the form of competencies, the mastery of which will ensure the cumulative formation of various types of functional literacy among schoolchildren. To achieve it, the following research methods were applied: analysis of the scientific literature and its generalization, observation of the educational process, conversation. As a result of the study, three groups of competencies were identified that the teacher needs to carry out professional activities, including the formation of functional literacy of schoolchildren; it is shown that different types of functional literacy can be formed on the material of the same subject, and this requires the teacher to be appropriately qualified; on the example of general pedagogical disciplines, it is revealed what changes in their content should be made in order to prepare the prospective teacher for the formation of functional literacy of schoolchildren.
The article describes the problems of pedagogical support technology in a medical university. A high need for the development of research competencies among students of medical universities has been shown. The problems of individualizing the approach to teaching and the fundamental importance of this approach are also reflected.
Target — creating a technology for individual support of student research work and testing its effectiveness when working in the field of clinical pathophysiology. Material and methods. The study was carried out in two stages. At the first stage, using a specially developed questionnaire, the awareness of medical university students in the field of research activities was assessed, and the need for the development of special support technology was assessed. At the second stage, the technology of individual support itself was formed step by step, and the effectiveness of this technology was assessed using the example of working with specific students.
Specific stages and main blocks of work using the developed technology are described, as well as specific examples of work using this technology in teaching practice are given. The novelty lies in the author's methodology for assessing the awareness of students at a medical university, as well as in the practical implementation of the technology of individual support in relation to students of a medical university. The results of the work carried out are presented both in the form of an analysis of the corresponding questionnaire and in the form of specific achievements of trained students.
The article examines the conceptual foundations of developing prognostic competence in students of pedagogical educational institutions. Special attention is given to the analysis and structuring of various concepts drawn from multiple sources on this topic. The research aims to determine the level of development of prognostic competence among students of pedagogical universities and to identify the necessity for in-depth study of this competence. Research methods included analysis of scientific literature, questioning of students on knowledge and understanding of the concept of predictive competence. The results of the study showed that a significant proportion of students have an insufficient level of predictive competence. This confirms the need for in-depth study and immersion in this aspect of professional training. The research results emphasize the importance of developing specialized educational programs and methodological approaches aimed at effectively fostering prognostic competence in students preparing for pedagogical careers.
Pedagogical culture is studied as a component of folk pedagogy, as a legacy of the author’s pedagogical systems, as an integral part of the teacher’s professionalism. The authors of the article describe pedagogical intensive courses as an organizational form of the process of forming the pedagogical culture of future teachers. Their essence is to activate the educational activities of future teachers by reducing the time allotted for the training session. The interactive interaction of the teacher and students with each other in the process of pedagogical intensive courses contributes to the formation of motivational, emotive, axiological and activity components of their pedagogical culture. Compliance with pedagogical conditions in the process of implementing the developed model in the educational process will contribute to improving the quality of professional training of students of pedagogical universities in the aspect of their pedagogical culture.
The article is devoted to the issues of determining the content of the structural components of the pedagogical worldview of future leaders of choreographic collectives, assessing their role in the structure of the phenomenon under study through the use of methods of analysis, synthesis, generalization, systematization, concretization and comparison of available scientific sources. The author identifies the relevance of the research, which consists in the need for a comprehensive study of pedagogical professional and personal neoplasms to improve the quality of training of creative personnel in the field of culture. The novelty of the research is presented by highlighting the author’s structural components of the phenomenon under study, revealing their content regarding the specifics of the professional activity of the future head of the choreographic team based on the array of psychological and pedagogical ideas available in the scientific literature regarding the object of research. The results obtained can be applied to effectively form the pedagogical worldview of future leaders of choreographic groups in the educational space of the University of Culture.
One of the tasks of the higher education system is to find an educational environment and educational events for the development of self-organization of future teachers. This is due to the need to train a new type of specialist capable of teaching in a complex and ambiguous environment.
The purpose of the presented study is a theoretical analysis of the activities of the student sports club as a condition for the development of self-organization of future teachers. Our tasks were to study the concept of «self-organization» and to identify the possibility of student sports club for its development.
In the modern general cultural and educational space, pedagogical activity prescribes increased demands for future teachers, requiring them to have the presence of self-organization. Its development in the system of professional pedagogical education is an urgent and timely task. Analysis and synthesis of information of special pedagogical literature devoted to the relevance of the process of higher education and the study of issues of self-organization, as well as the study of normative and program documents of educational organizations of higher education allows us to summarize materials of articles of scientific and educational communities.
The possibilities of the student sports club meet the main parameters of the concept of self-organization as a behavioral characteristic of future teachers. The activity in the student sports club provides a high level of personal freedom and activity of future teachers; a variety of possible directions of personal potential development through the ability and willingness to solve current and future tasks of professional activity.
The article examines specifics of university’s activities as a center for the formation of technological innovations and entrepreneurial initiatives. The author detects the key features of university’s innovative and entrepreneurial infrastructure: the multifunctionality of structural units, the priority of technological entrepreneurship, partnership with industrial and financial businesses, multi-vector communication with young audience. Advantages and risks of participants in innovative entrepreneurship in the educational sphere are systematized. It is actualized that the innovative and entrepreneurial development of higher education is a modern trend that determines competitiveness of universities and regional economic systems.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IN EDUCATION
The article focuses on the application of electronic corpora in teaching language theory and the assessment of the methodological potential of corpus technologies as a complex phenomenon represented by corpora collections and corpora tools. The appeal to corpus technologies in linguodidactics is substantiated by the digital realities of the modern foreign language teaching process and educational environment in general. Nevertheless, corpora technologies as a linguodidactic environment are not sufficiently disclosed in the context of foreign language teaching and language theory in particular. Corpora technologies can be considered as an effective tool for developing learners' practical skills in mastering language theory, as well as the formation and development of research competence and learning autonomy. The aim of the present study is to substantiate the structural model of language theory teaching based on online corpora technology, which will allow activating and developing learners' research skills. The conducted analysis of published sources on the problem and the analysis of DWDS — Digitales Wörterbuch der deutschen Sprache — as a corpora technology in the study of linguotheory, indicated the relevance and the necessity of developing special methodological guidelines for both teachers and students. In connection with the noted insufficient involvement of corpora technologies in teaching language theory, the article proposes a model of language theory teaching based on corpora technologies.
The article examines the features of the formation of digital and graphic literacy of cadets of military educational institutions in the context of hybrid learning.
Modern society places high demands on the level of professional training of graduates of military higher educational institutions. This implies the need for their comprehensive development, both in theoretical and practical aspects, for the successful conduct of scientific research, analytical work and the implementation of innovations. In order for cadets to be competitive and able to work effectively in the conditions of active use of modern information technologies, it is necessary to create conditions for the formation of skills in using modern digital systems in their profession. To improve the effectiveness of cadet training and their preparation for information and analytical work, it is critical to determine and apply the necessary set of organizational and pedagogical measures.
The aim of the study is to examine the characteristics of teaching cadets graphic disciplines and the formation of digital literacy skills in the context of using a hybrid type of training.
As a result of the study, a review of scientific and practical information on the presented topic was conducted, and the author's conclusions were given.
The meta-subject results of foreign language humanitarian education become the development of students' reading literacy; the development of an attitude towards reading as a cultural and personal value. The strengthening of the role of information visualization and the change in the nature of assimilation of text information leads pedagogical universities to invent new methods and techniques of working with foreign language texts in foreign language classes.
The aim of the article is to generalize the practical experience of working with fiction in foreign language classes with students of a pedagogical university. As a means of developing the reading literacy of students — the future teachers of English, the technique of independently compiling infographics based on the materials of fiction by foreign authors is proposed. The theoretical and methodological basis of the reseach work became the works of Smetannikova N.N., Zemlinskaya T.V., Grigorieva N.V., Soroka O.G. and others, foreign authors Antonova A., Clanfield L., Ribeiro R; educational and methodological literature on methodology, pedagogy and related sciences; normative documents. The research methods include critical analysis of literary sources, analysis of basic research concepts, design, generalization of existing positive pedagogical experience, trial training.
The article presents the original algorithm for compiling infographics based on materials from works of fiction by foreign authors; the criteria for evaluating infographics compiled by students are proposed. The final part of the article highlights the advantages of the chosen method of visualizing the content of a work of fiction; a general assessment of the results and effectiveness of the practical work carried out to develop students' reading literacy is given.
The study examines the possibilities and prospects of using mass open online courses (MOOCS) in higher education institutions on the example of Tyumen Industrial University. The authors analyze the formation stages of MOOC; study the advantages of introducing MOOC into the educational process, such as accessibility, flexibility and individualization of learning. The paper provides specific examples of the use of online courses in the university curriculum aimed at the successful integration of MOOCs into the educational system; the challenges and problems associated with the massive introduction of online courses. The authors conclude that the use of MOOC contributes to expanding access to educational resources and increasing the competitiveness of the university in the educational market.
