Abstract

The article is devoted to the formation of special competencies of journalism students in the digital age. The problem is that new technologies, new ways of processing and broadcasting information materials, new ways of interacting with the audience have appeared in modern journalism. New journalistic professions that have become a response to the social demand and challenges of the time have also appeared. The author of the article suggests making a number of changes in the system of training journalists at the university. According to the author, new methods and educational technologies should be implemented in the system, for example, within the framework of a virtual media park. The project participants, student journalists, work for a common goal using modern technologies. The teacher (practicing journalist) acts as a facilitator that directs the activities of students and assesses it objectively.
