Abstract
At the present stage in the system of physical education of preschool children an important place is occupied by the process of detecting the dynamics of the results of educational activities. In order to determine the individual route of physical development of each child the head of physical education needs to know and be able to interpret qualitative and quantitative indicators of physical preparedness. The process of determining the level of physical fitness of pupils from 4 to 7 years old allows the head of physical education to establish the level of development of the child relative to the age indicators presented in the curriculum of preschool education; to determine the forms and methods of working with children to improve their motor development; to create comfortable conditions in which children with a low level of physical preparedness will be ready to perform exercises and demonstrate their motor capabilities; to identify pupils with signs of psychomotor giftedness in order to further improve their motor abilities.
The purpose of the article is to reveal the specifics of an individual— differentiated approach in the process of diagnosing physical preparedness, taking into account the state of health of pupils. In the course of the study, we analyzed the control exercises presented in the literature for examining the physical qualities of children from 4 to 7 years old, and also identified the main directions of an individual-differentiated approach, taking into account the condition of the diagnostic participants.
Recommendations are given for the diagnosis of physical preparedness for children with disabilities in health and physical development, providing for the variability of the choice of diagnostic techniques.
