Abstract
Initially, the Unified State Exam (hereinafter referred to as the Unified State Exam) was conceived in order to provide equal opportunities for graduates of grades 11 in urban and rural areas to enroll in leading universities in the Russian Federation. At the same time, dividing the Unified State Exam in mathematics into basic and specialized levels allows you to divide all graduates (at their request) into two groups — graduates who have chosen universities with a specialized discipline in mathematics, and graduates who have chosen other universities.
The purpose of the article is to develop a number of recommendations based on the analysis of the results of the Unified State Exam in mathematics at the profile level, the use of which in the educational process will improve the quality of preparation of 11th grade graduates for the Unified State Exam in mathematics at the profile level.
To improve the level of training, and, consequently, the results of the Unified State Exam in mathematics at a specialized level for graduates from rural areas and cities, a detailed comparative analysis of the results for all groups of tasks is required.
The study was conducted in 2024 based on the results of the Unified State Exam in mathematics at the profile level of educational institutions in the Tyumen region. In the course of the study, the solvability of tasks No. 13–19 was analyzed according to the content (thematic) blocks and the tested skills. Based on the results of the analysis, a number of conclusions can be drawn.:
11th grade graduates are less likely to start solving geometric problems than they are to solve problems in other branches of mathematics;
About a third of graduates do not start solving tasks with a detailed answer at all;
All the mistakes made by graduates when completing assignments with a detailed answer can be divided into: errors in applying algebraic formulas and properties of functions; errors in applying basic geometric concepts and theorems; errors in constructing mathematical models; errors in solving equations and inequalities; computational errors.
