Abstract
The relevance of the article is due to the fact that today students copy nature in the process of working on a picturesque still life. They do not analyze it, and they do not use analytical skills such as systematization, classification, and generalization in their work. A problem arises: as a result, the student gets a «dry», graphic still life, made by copying. The purpose of the research is to introduce methodological development aimed at the formation of analytical skills of future teachers of fine arts. Research methods: theoretical methods, analysis of pedagogical literature. The result is a methodological development aimed at the formation of analytical skills in painting, which will allow future teachers to develop analytical skills in the process of working on a still life painting.
