Abstract
The paper is devoted to the semantic analysis of the stereotypical images of some certain ethnic groups. The research task is to define some key attributive groups — nuclear of these stereotypical images and to reveal ethnophaulisms in the structure of the images as the markers of the hate speech. The elements of the associative experiment were used as research method. As a result, the author highlights student youth’s stereotypical images of certain ethnic groups, in which some ethnophaulisms of all-Russian conveyance as the markers of hate speech typical for everyday discourse are revealed. The author concludes that the expressive ethnonyms are not included in active student youth’s vocabulary, the cases of their usage are based upon some social stereotypes, are used unconsciously mostly, not to insult a representative of alien ethnos. Moreover, their usage is not always proportional to a negative image of ethnos in respondents’ consciousness.
