Abstract
Social activity is a key condition for the realization and formation of youth as the main guarantor and resource necessary for the further existence and development of society. The activity of young people is greatly influenced by the global changes that humanity faced at the end of 2019, which transformed the way of life, making previously habitual activities impossible due to the restrictions imposed in the form of social distance and lockdown, and allowed, in turn, to actualize the topic of social activity of young people through the prism of a pandemic and a post-pandemic.
The chosen topic is interdisciplinary, which determines the approach to its study, analysis and interpretation of specific features of a regional nature. Based on the questionnaire data in the student groups of Tyumen Industrial University, conducted in the fall of 2022 using Internet platform, the authors identified factors affecting social activity in conditions of self-isolation; described the difficulties that arose during the lockdown and affected the social activity of young people; we interpreted and analyzed the data obtained, concluding that the adaptation state of a person to non-specific conditions for him (lockdown and self-isolation) can be beneficial, a person acquires new knowledge and skills that are so necessary in transforming conditions. The new format of social activity of young people can be consistently built into a promising existential paradigm, accompanied by a continuous process of self-development, without harming their health.
